Are there any precautions I should take when using Vaniqa?

Short Answer:

Yes, it is a topical medication for use on healthy external skin only.

Long Answer:

Avoid getting this medication in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If this occurs, wash the area with water. If Vaniqa gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water and contact your doctor. Never use on broken or irritated skin. Tell your doctor of any medical condition, sores on your face or allergies.
